Mostly probably it's because your area connection is very weak and get easily disconnected (DC), just like when using mobile data and not wifi.
When u test posted totes for 30 mins as described above without DC, it is because it's night and traffic is less and you got a 'whole road' to yourself. 
So i suggest u check with your ISP and they will also check your home connection if there's nothing wrong on their side, like your router relay, modem etc.
